FINGER: Point taken

I was going to let this pass, although I had called the Sports Editor before.

It is a big deal for at least the following reasons: 1. This is a family newspaper; 2. My wife reads the sports section; 3. The kids read the sports section. How would you like to explain that action to your kids, “Well, Susie and Jimmy, that’s the way we express ourselves when we don’t get our way.”

The Coeur d’Alene Press is bigger than that. Besides there was a whole action in sports that day; the game winning field goal for example.

Enough said.
