Harvey Edward Brothers Jr., 69

Harvey Edward Brothers Jr., 69, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away Oct. 21, 2018, surrounded by his family at home. He was born on March 14, 1949, in Lodi, Calif.; the son of Harvey and Louise (Bernard) Brothers.

Harvey grew up in Walnut Grove, Calif., and graduated from Galt High School in 1967. He served two years in the Army, being honorably discharged after serving as a combat medic in Vietnam. He moved to Idaho in 1991. He was united in marriage to Tina Slusher in 1995 in Coeur d’Alene. Harvey worked as a screen printer for various companies prior to retirement.

He loved volunteering in the community and also enjoyed riding his bike, fishing and hiking.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Tina of Coeur d’Alene; daughters, Lenai (Mark) Sanchez of Acampo, Calif., and Natia (Beto) Brothers of Stockton, Calif.; sister, Josie (Mike) Brand of Lodi, Calif.; grandchildren, Joseph Montanez, Aaron Sanchez and Alissa Sanchez; and great-granddaughter, Allison Borba.

A celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave., Post Falls, ID 83854.
