Latitude Aviation named Distinguished Flight School

Latitude Aviation in Hayden has been recognized again by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. The flight school has been awarded a spot on the 2018 Flight Training Experience Awards as a Distinguished Flight School, a title given to high scoring flight schools from the association’s annual Flight Training Experience Survey.

“It seems a little surreal to have achieved this national honor three years in a row. It validates all the hard work we’ve put in. It also lets us know some things we can continue to improve in our service to the area’s pilots,” says Jeffrey Fouche, flight instructor and founder of Latitude. “We’ve worked hard to bring fun adventure to the Coeur d’Alene area with our special mix of personal instruction, varied aircraft fleet, and a special touch for guiding students to their ultimate goals.”

The 2018 awards were drawn from flight students and pilots who voluntarily reviewed their flight training experience last summer through an AOPA online customer satisfaction survey. The process yielded an evaluation of 954 different flight schools and 1,849 individual flight instructors.
