Joseph Sterling Sarbacher, 40

Joseph Sterling Sarbacher, age 40, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018.

Joe was born to Jane and Gerold Sarbacher on Sept. 13, 1978. He grew up on his family farm in Ferdinand, Idaho, until the family relocated to Wallowa County, Oregon, where Joe attended high school in Joseph, Ore. Joe later moved to Elk City, Idaho; Vancleave, Miss. and later, Williston, N.D.

Joe was an avid motorcycle rider, prankster and family man. He leaves behind cherished friends and co-workers. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Sarbacher. Joe is survived by his children, Alexandra Weiss of Tampa, Fla., and Jonathon Sarbacher, Xander Sarbacher and Elizabeth Sarbacher of Imnaha, Ore.; his father, Gerold Sarbacher; his brother, Jeremiah M. Sarbacher; sister, Geroldlynn Gorten and nieces, Delaney, Taten and Markena Gorten from Rathdrum, Idaho; his sister, Jacinta Barnes and nephews, Jeremiah Sarbacher, Tristan Coles and Nathan Coles from Rathdrum.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave., Post Falls, Idaho. Online condolences can be made at www.belltowerfuneralhome.com
