Kellogg tops Priest River for state 3A berth

PRIEST RIVER — The third-seeded Kellogg Wildcats beat the second-seeded Priest River Spartans in the 3A District 1 tournament to advance to state starting next Friday at Mountain View High in Meridian.

Kellogg will face Snake River in an opening round match at 10 a.m. PDT.

KALISPELL, Mont. — Kaylee Prosch had seven aces and 13 assists to lead the Royals to a 25-20, 25-14, 25-13 nonleague win over the Flathead Valley Home School Association. Julia Haag had five blocks and five kills and Delaney LePard nine digs for North Idaho Christian (11-7), which faces Kootenai Thunder on Tuesday at Cocolalla Base Camp.
