Police: Explosives have been removed; area is now safe

From the Coeur d’Alene Police Department:

The Spokane Police Bomb Squad has removed the explosives and made the business district safe.

Streets are now opened back up and it is safe to travel through this area.

Thank you to our neighboring agencies as well as the CDA School Dist. 271 for their assistance.

The front desk of the police department will remain closed for the rest of the day and reopen on Monday for normal business hours.
