FINGER: No big deal

| October 19, 2018 1:00 AM

I’m sorry Mr. Kolb, but I had to laugh at your letter. I saw pictures all over the networks, especially the ESPN Networks. I did not see pictures or videos of a frontal view of Mr. Thomas flipping the team off. I saw more or less a side view of him sitting in the cart and that his hand was blocked out.

You must be wound up pretty tight to be so offended by such a stupid gesture. These days that’s pretty tame. Have you seen the crap that has been on TV the last few years? I haven’t watched a drama or so-called comedy shows in years. I go back to the late ’40s and ’50s when TV was just getting popular. You’d watch “I Love Lucy.” She was always trying to get a chance to sing with Desi’s band, her husband. Back in the day they weren’t worried about their daughter, wondering if she should change her sex to a boy, etc. Plus all these programs that are all pretty left leaning ideas and thoughts.

No Mr. Kolb, The Press doesn’t owe you, me or anyone else an apology. You need to loosen up a little.
