Community members peruse offerings at a past Peak Health Fair in Cd’A.

Peak Health and Wellness Center will open its doors to all in the community for the fifth annual Health and Wellness Fair.

The event will take place Oct. 24 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene facility.

About 30 booths will be set up throughout the facility to offer information, giveaways, health screenings, spa treatments, nutrition counseling, supplement samples and healthy food options.

Pop-up vendors will offer an assortment of health-related items for sale to get you started on holiday shopping.

Meet with local dentists, massage therapists, chiropractors and physical therapists for information and screenings.

Learn about financial planning, skin and beauty care, weight management, nutrition and supplements.

New this year will be several local restaurants and eateries with samples and information to help with making health-conscious choices while eating out.

Many vendors will offer raffles of their own, or enter for a chance to win one of three large gift baskets filled with items and services donated by each participating vendor. Doorbuster gifts will also go to the first 50 attendees.

Those interested do not need to be a Peak member to attend, and Peak will be giving away free 10-day VIP passes to all attendees. The passes can be used at any location, along with a special $20 joining fee for those ready to take the fitness plunge.

Current members can enter to win a drawing for free monthly dues, personal training sessions and Biggest Loser Challenge paybacks.

The Health and Wellness Fair is being held at the Coeur d’Alene Peak location, 940 W. Ironwood Drive. Admission is free. For information, call the gym at 208-667-2582.
