POEM: Kavanaugh's song

| October 17, 2018 1:36 AM

It was the night before confirmation and there was great despair.

The Democrats were gnashing their teeth and pulling out their hair.

They just couldn’t allow Brett to win.

For that to happen would be such a sin.

He hasn’t driven a girlfriend into the drink

Or waited for the car to very slowly sink.

He hasn’t even risked his life

By hanging out with the mobster’s wife.

He’s been a faithful husband, none of this stand by your man stuff,

He has persevered in spite of the fact that the Dems have made it rough

He hasn’t lounged on his boat, sipping his gin.

Oh no, if he did that he would never win.

He did drink some Billy Beer.

He must be a drunk.

The Dems all believe his ship they have sunk.
