HUNTER: Who's the animal?

| October 17, 2018 1:18 AM

I am not a hunter. However, I understand Idaho’s hunting and fishing culture. People here hunt humanely and harvest their game to feed their families. They observe licensing regulation in support of a healthy and sustainable wildlife population.

In deep contrast to that, I was sickened and disgusted by photos of Idaho’s Fish and Game Commissioner. The photos showed Blake Fisher and his wife posing over big game trophies in Africa this year. Fisher and his wife were grinning over images of several animals, including a dead giraffe, leopard, and a FAMILY of baboons, including the babies. Now what part of a baby baboon are you going to take home to eat?

This is not a couple who kill for sustenance but monsters who kill for sheer pleasure.
