Community Library Network seeks strong volunteers
It only happens twice a year, but it takes months of planning to get the Friends of the Community Library Network’s book sale together. One of the biggest challenges for the Friends group is moving boxes to and from the book sale room.
Folks with the muscles to help are encouraged to help. Those volunteers with ability to lift 20 to 25 pounds would be appreciated. The book sale is scheduled at the Hayden Library Friday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3. Set-up takes place Friday morning to prepare for the 4 p.m. opening, and tear down happens when the book sale ends, Saturday, 2 p.m.
Volunteers will help support an organization that donates all its proceeds back to the library. As of August 2018, the Friends have contributed $12,870 toward summer reading and other library programs. To help, contact Leslie Wilde, 208-762-3261.
