Mark E. Crocker, 57

Mark E. Crocker, of Spokane, Wash., passed away unexpectedly Oct. 10, 2018. He was born in Spokane, Wash., on Jan. 29, 1961. Mark graduated from East Valley High School — class of 1979. He had a long career as a manager at Lowe’s and then at his family’s business for several years.

Mark was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed camping, four wheeling, playing poker and spending time with family and friends, especially his daughters, Danielle and Desirae, along with his beautiful granddaughters, Kyla, Karisa and Kinsley. Gramps loved watching them and cheering them on at all their sporting events.

He was a sincere, warm person who found the good in everyone. He made a lasting impression on every single person he crossed paths with. Gramps and Uncle Mark will always be remembered by his “Squish-and-a-Kiss.” One thing that we will never forget about him was his witty sense of humor, laughter and infectious smile.

Mark will lovingly be remembered by his mother, Gayle Crocker; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Jeremy Wallis; daughter, Desirae Crocker and step-daughter, Rachel Castelman; granddaughters, Kyla, Karisa and Kinsley Wallis; sister, Cheryl (Rob) Wyatt; brother, Nick Crocker; twin sister, Marci Crocker; very special friend, Victoria Keehner; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Ray Crocker and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

“Seeing death as the end of life is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean.”

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 20, 2018, at Hazen and Jaeger Valley, followed by a celebration of life at Valley Mission Park. In honor of Mark’s love for Hawaii, we will be celebrating his life Hawaiian style. Please wear casual Hawaiian attire.
