PULLMAN — ESPN’s “College GameDay”, the popular three-hour ESPN program aired live from a different site each week of the football season, is headed to Pullman this week in anticipation of No. 25 Washington State’s game Saturday against No. 12 Oregon at sold-out Martin Stadium.

It will be GameDay’s first broadcast from WSU.

The show is hosted by Rece Davis, joined by Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and Maria Taylor, as well as contributors Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica, Jen Lada, Tom Rinaldi and Gene Wojciechowski.

Getting to Pullman is notable for the show because for years it has been followed around by Wazzu fans waving the ‘Ol Crimson school flag.

Kickoff on Saturday is at 4:30 p.m. The College GameDay broadcast begins at 6 a.m.

Live programming, including SportsCenter and College Football Live segments from Pullman, will occur throughout the day on Friday, and leading into the show on Saturday morning.

College GameDay was started in 1987, and began incorporating live broadcasts in 1993.
