Loretta Mae Park

Loretta Mae Park was born in Riverside, Calif. As a child, Loretta’s family moved to Portland, Ore., which she would forever recall as one of her favorite cities. Eventually, she landed back in Riverside where she spent the majority of her life and raised her three daughters.

Loretta owned a knitting shop and was a very talented creator. When time allowed, she loved to load up her RV and head to the beach with her grandchildren and her cat. She was also the lead singer in a band. Her military husband led her to Panama, and she fell in love with the country. She went bowling and golfing nearly every day.

Loretta loved to travel. She went from Maine and Florida to Hawaii, from Panama to Alaska, and many points in between. She was a frequenter of Palm Desert, Calif., and recalled running into Frank Sinatra, among others, on several occasions.

After raising her three daughters, she moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where she spent her remaining years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her community of friends. She loved to recall the past and to sing and dance.

Her family takes peace in knowing she lived a full and beautiful life and now rests in the arms of her loving Savior. She leaves behind one sister, two daughters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and an extensive shoe collection! She is greatly loved and missed.
