GOAL: Turkeys & More thanks supporters

Turkeys & More thanks many supporters in the community for helping to reach their goal of raising $36,000 to help local families for Thanksgiving. The funds, deposited directly in the Community Action Food Bank’s account, will provide turkeys and holiday food to 1,700 families in Kootenai County.

The successful Sharecase of Talent fundraising event held at the Kroc recently was directed by Mike Bullard and featured Abbey Crawford as Emcee and singer. Other performers included: Sweet Adelines Coeur d’Alene Chorus, J.J. Dion, Kent Kimball, Cynthia Marlette, Scott Grundsted and his fiddle students, Christian Youth Theater (CYT), Alexandro Vargas, Coeur d’Alene’s nationally acclaimed Red Hot Mamas, Michael Harrison and the Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy Red Hot Jazz Band. The Sharecase of Talent was sponsored by The Coeur d’Alene Tribe.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 149 in Athol would like to thank the following for supporting our Pay-It-Forward Dinner on Sept. 29:
