NEWCOMERS: Leave baggage behind

Years ago, the people of North Idaho did not welcome Californians relocating in Idaho. To give you an example, one morning we went to breakfast in Coeur d’Alene. At the next table, two couples from California were talking. One person was advising the newcomers. He said, “The first thing to do is get an Idaho license on your car and keep your old California license out of sight.” Not a very welcome environment! We should genuinely welcome them!

That being said, people are leaving California in droves. Years ago, we lived there, and it was a wonderful place. It was the closest thing to Heaven! Not so now. With the party of death and destruction in control for so long. It is now the No. 1 in a welfare state and many former wonderful cities have become like cesspools or worse. No wonder people are leaving!

Californians are welcome, but please don’t bring the party of failure with you. Hopefully you love Idaho, so please keep her as a great state.

We have observed this same party destroy Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco and is starting to destroy Seattle, Portland and all of California. PLEASE don’t bring this destruction to us.

We welcome people who want a better life than they have left. Please join us to be builders of our future! On the contrary, if you plan to destroy our country please fill up your gas tank and return to wherever you came from.
