Kenneth L. Allen, 55

Kenneth L. Allen, 55, passed away Sept. 28, 2018, outside Colfax, Wash.

Kenneth Lewis Allen was born in Auburn, Neb., on Aug. 22, 1963, to Bob and Sheila (Foster) Sharp. He moved to Burke, Idaho, in 1968 and attended school in the Wallace School District. He obtained his GED and went on to become a journeyman welder. He took great pride in being a part of the revitalization of the warehouse district in Denver, Colo., where he built custom spiral staircases and other steel structures.

During his time in Denver, he met his best friend, Nick, whom he considered a brother. He also met the love of his life, Lynda Wilson, who unfortunately passed away early in their relationship. During this time he developed his love for Harley Davidson motorcycles and became an avid rider, often riding between Denver and the Silver Valley in Idaho to spend time with both of his families. He was the happiest when spending time with his nieces and nephews, whether sharing his love for motorcycles or just rolling around on the floor playing with their favorite toys.

He is survived by his mother, Sheila Foster of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; his son, Samuel Allen of Arvada, Colo.; sisters, Sherri Foster of Pinehurst, Idaho, Peggy (Charli) Roberts of Coeur d’Alene and Becky (late husband Jerry) Larson of Athol, Idaho; brothers, Paul (Jesse) Marquez of Pinehurst and Nick (Jessica) Baird of Strasburg, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Lucille Foster; uncle, Lance Foster; nephew, Joshua Heigel; niece, Melisha Heigel; brother-in-law, Jerry Larson; and his dear, Lynda Wilson.

Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, Wash., has been entrusted with arrangements. No public services are being planned for at this time. Online condolences may be sent to www.kimballfh.com.
