Ferman Joseph Pasold, 85

Ferman Joseph Pasold of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, passed away Oct. 10, 2018, in Coeur d’Alene. Ferman was born in 1932 in Spokane, Wash., to Joseph F. Pasold and Edna Pasold-Crawford, of Wallace, Idaho.

Ferman was raised in Wallace. He graduated from Wallace High School and then joined the Army in 1953. He was honorably discharged in 1956. Ferman attended the University of Idaho with a bachelor in architecture. He was a very accomplished and well-known architect. He was known for using round windows in his designs. When you see a round window, you know he designed the building. Ferman played baseball and was always a huge Vandals fan. He also loved to travel. He traveled to Rome, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Paris and Alaska. Ferman loved fishing and golf. He built his dream home at Twin Lakes on the golf course in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Ferman is survived by his two beloved sons, Ferman Jr. (Jessica) Pasold of Liberty Lake, Wash. and Blake Pasold of Coeur d’Alene; granddaughter, Falynn Pasold; nieces, Dena Poeschel of Idaho and Desa Pasold-Paddon of Alaska.
