Lakeland bows out with loss to Moscow

MOSCOW — Lakeland had its season come to the end in the opening round of the 4A Region 1 tournament, falling 4-0 to the Moscow Bears on Tuesday at the Community Playfields.

Max Mortimer had a goal and two assists for Moscow (7-8), which will travel to Sandpoint for the regional championship game on Thursday.

Lakeland finishes 1-13-1.
