Forster, a sophomore, finished second in the Inland Empire Classic cross country meet Oct. 6 in Lewiston. Forster finished the 3.1-mile race in 17 minutes, 58 seconds, helping the Viking girls to a third-place finish out of 17 teams. Forster was also eighth in the Nike Portland Invitational on Sept. 29, finishing in 18:10.5 and was second in the Battle for the 509 at Fairways Golf Course in Cheney on Sept. 22 in a time of 18:16.9.
