Barbara Kay (Aurora) Davis, 78

Barbara Kay (Aurora) Davis, 78, went to rest with our heavenly Father on Sept. 25, 2018. She was born on Nov. 6, 1939, in Omaha, Neb. She moved to Santa Monica, Calif., after high school, where she met and married Donald Davis on Sept. 7, 1963. They settled in Orange County and raised two children.

In 1994 when her first grandson was about to be born, they moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and here she lived until her passing, spending precious time with her grandsons. Barbara was very active in her community and worked and volunteered in her children’s school. She was an avid bargain hunter and loved finding treasures at garage sales and thrift stores. She was a devout Catholic and a very dedicated member of her local parish. She was a kind, gentle, loving woman. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and made friends with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Madeline and Anthony Aurora; her brother, Frank Aurora; her sisters, Mary Jean Aurora and JoAnne Cinnamond; and her grandson, David Ramsey. She is survived by her husband, Donald Davis; her son, John Davis; her daughter, Lisa Ramsey; her brother, Vince Aurora; her grandson, Kyle Ramsey; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 625 E. Haycraft Ave., Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
