Kenneth Lee Addington, 75

Kenneth Lee Addington, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at the Courtyard in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was born on Oct. 25, 1942, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Wash., to his parents, Glenn Winfield and Leone Gertrude (Wygant) Addington. Kenny was a lifelong resident of Harrison, Idaho.

Kenny married Harriet Anne Williams in 1966 and they had three children. After the loss of his first wife, Kenny married Margaret Ann Damiano.

Kenny was always an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and tending his Koi pond. He started his own excavation business in the mid 1970s, which his son Mark continues to run. Kenny and Margaret Ann hosted many holiday family gatherings over the years, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Kenny had a life changing experience when he made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in the mid-1970s. His decision has left a rich legacy of faith that continues on in his children and their families.

Kenny was preceded in death by his first wife, Harriet Addington; his parents, Glenn and Leone Addington; and his sisters, Mary (Addington) Pickert and Glenna (Addington) Ross. He was also preceded in death by his stepson, Larry Damiano, and his two grandsons, David and Chance Law.

He is survived by his siblings, Judy (Addington) Chatfield and Larry Addington; by his children, Mark Addington, Jeremy Addington and Lee Anne (Addington) Law and their families, including 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Margaret Ann Addington and his stepdaughter, Carla Damiano.

There will be a service to honor Kenny at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at the Harrison Community Baptist Church, with a potluck dinner to follow.
