Courtesy photo The Timbers North FC 05 Red Boys soccer team wrapped up its fall season undefeated in the RCL U14 Division 3 with two more wins and a tie in the past week. Last Wednesday, they played under the lights at Real Life in Post Falls and won 7-1 against the Spokane Sounders. They won 9-0 on Saturday vs. Washington Rush, a game played under the lights at Real Life in Post Falls. Both Bryce Allred and Cooper Prohaska scored hat tricks, and Nate Wyatt, Landon Lee and Isaac Fritts each scored once. Miles Taylor posted the shutout in goal. On Sunday, the Timbers played at Spokane Falls Community College against FWFC. Down 2-0 at half, the Timbers battled back for a 2-all tie on goals by Bryce Allred and Isaac Fritts, off corner kicks by Landon Lee and Caden Thompson. CROSS COUNTRY

NIXC bound for Reno: North Idaho Cross Country (NIXC) had a fantastic showing at the USA Track and Field Region 13 Junior Olympic Championship held in Yakima on Saturday. Coach Erin Lydon Hart led her 38 NIXC racers ranging ages 8-17 to battle against 815 racers from Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.

NIXC racers brought home 5 out of 10 individual first place medals:

U8 boys (2k): Rowan Henry (7:34.00)

9-10 boys (3k): Mitchell Rietze (10:56.50)

11-12 boys (3k): Max Cervi-Skinner (10:10.70)

15-16 girls (5k): Lu Forster (18:41.80)

17-18 boys (5k): Christian Kuplak (16:22)

The NIXC 11-12 boys team placed first out of 12 teams.
