HOMELESS: And hypocritical

I was watching the local news on TV and they were doing a story about opening warming centers for the homeless and placing mats on the floor of a gym for them to sleep on.

Then thinking about the endless stories on the news about how cruel and inhumane it was that we housed illegal immigrants on mats on a floor in a gym.

We think it is compassionate and caring to treat the homeless in this way and cruel and inhumane to treat illegal immigrants the same?

Oh, the hypocrisy!
