Nyquist, a 6-foot-3, 215 pound redshirt junior infielder from Coeur d’Alene High, has started in 14 of his 30 appearances for the Bulldogs (31-22), who advanced to the NCAA Tournament starting Friday in Minneapolis, facing UCLA in the opening round of the regionals on Friday. Nyquist is batting .250 with 14 hits and 12 runs scored.

Kyler Little

Washington State track and field

Little, a junior from Lake City High, was named to the 2017-18 Google Cloud Academic All-District 8 men’s track/cross country team, selected by College Sports Information Directors of America for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Little, majoring in Mathematics, has a 4.0 grade point average. He was eighth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Pac-12 Track and Field Championships, holding a career-best time of 8 minutes, 59.55 seconds.
