Today's ghastly groaner

Artie, a well-known thief, entered Safeway late one night.

Wandering through the store he found two employees working in the meat department.

Artie immediately jumped over the meat counter and choked both employees into submission, opened the cash register and stole the $1 in the till.

Next day, the headline in the local newspaper was “Artie chokes two for a dollar at Safeway.”
