ANNIVERSARIES

Park and Betty Kriner

60th Anniversary

Park and Betty Kriner, of Coeur d’Alene, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2018.

They moved to Coeur d’Alene on Oct. 6, 2016, Park’s birthday. They will continue to live here until God takes them home. Park and Betty lived in Alaska for 49 years and think Coeur d’Alene is every bit as nice as the state they loved in Alaska.

Park told his mother he would marry Betty when she was 7 years old and he was 8. Folks laughed and said that would never happen, but, two days after Betty graduated from high school in Vale, Ore., they were married and have loved every year of the 60 since then. Park says he has the best wife ever, and would marry the same girl he loved when she was 7 again, if he had it to do over, and have never regretted making that decision when he was 8! He thanks God daily!
