June always makes me think of celebrations. Graduation parties, wedding receptions, parades and festivals. As I look at my calendar, it confirms my thoughts, and I must admit I love a good reason to celebrate!
Our Community Business Fair presented by Northwest Specialty Hospital was again a success because of our engaged members. Thank you to those that participated as exhibitors, volunteers, and spotlight sponsors, and of course the community who came out to learn more about the organizations in our region — without your support we could not pull off this successful event.
Our Connect 4 Lunch on June 19th is dedicated for our River City Leadership Academy graduation ceremony. We are grateful to Idaho Central Credit Union for being our graduation sponsor this year, and to Jordan Sales and Service and River City Fabrication for their 2018 program sponsorships. We are accepting applications for the class of 2019 until June 8 if you are interested in participating in the program.
June 15 will be our 26th Annual Post Falls Open Golf Tournament at the Links Golf Club. Looking ahead to July, Post Falls Festival is always a great time! July 13-15 will be one big celebration in the River City — our parade will be held on Saturday, July 14, starting at 10 a.m. Come out and enjoy all that Post Falls has to offer.
