Summer is here! Flowers and trees are in full bloom, schools are out soon, tourists are filling the streets, even the beaches have seen some body browning days. Ahh, Summer in Coeur d’Alene, we live for this!

The Coeur d’Alene Chamber is ready for the season! Our Spring Membership Blitz held in early May saw several new Business Members joining our local commerce community. Check out a list of new and existing members by subscribing to our E-newsletter at www.cdachamber.com.

The Annual Women Creating Success Conference is Friday, June 1. This year, keynote speaker is Dr. Heidi Scott, Director of Operations and Learning Strategy, Relational Discipleship Network, Gonzaga University. Dr. Scott will lead us through work and life balance in a unique hands-on, approach that will challenge the way we approach our day-to-day interactions with family, friends, and co-workers. We are also delighted to introduce a new workshop designed by a local team that will show us a new perspective on emotional intelligence and self-mastery.

Upbeat Breakfast is June 12 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. This breakfast meeting is the region’s largest monthly networking event and is open to all members in good standing. Our second monthly networking opportunity is Business After Hours on June 28 to be held at Precision Tax Relief.

Ironman 70.3 Coeur d’Alene returns to our beautiful city on June 24. National and local athletes alike will begin arriving the week prior and the Husle and bustle of Ironman Village in City Park beckons some of us locals to think “I could do this… Well, maybe next year!” You can also find chamber member athletic clubs on the chamber’s website.

Our annual Golf Tournament is on June 22 at Avondale Golf Course. This tournament is always a sellout and why not? On a sunny late June Friday afternoon, it’s a fun way to enjoy our beautiful outdoors, get some exercise and make connections. Commerce can and does happen on the greens here in beautiful North Idaho. To register for any of these events, to join the Coeur d’Alene Chamber or just to stop by and say hello, our doors are always open. We work for you. How can we help?
