Linda Carol Hines, 71

Linda Carol Hines went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2018. She danced into eternity surrounded by her closest family. Linda was born April 2, 1947, to Opal and Betty Dann, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., and grew up in Dinuba, Calif., where she graduated high school.

Linda was introduced to Aaron Hines of Pasco, Wash., by her Aunt Peggy and husband, Dave, in 2011. Aaron soon began to call her his “Precious Princess Darling,” attracted to her because of her sense of humor and wit, along with her deep devotion to Christ and respectfulness. They were married Dec. 17, 2011. They enjoyed the daily crossword puzzle, card games and table games including cribbage and aggravation. They were more recently were settling in to a new home in Pasco.

Linda worked as a seamstress in various locations, including the Levi Strauss Co. She also enjoyed sewing clothing for orphans in the Philippines. She taught multitudes of aspiring seamstresses of all ages, including her daughter and granddaughters, and crafted many priceless quilts for those she loved. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and taught in several Christian schools. She loved singing and playing the piano in church and for many family and friend gatherings, and wrote several worship songs of her own. Linda enjoyed bicycling, country line dancing, gardening and painting. She loved camping and could out fish anyone who dared take on the challenge.

Her faith in Christ was evident to all around her and her encouragement, love and laugh were contagious to all.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Aaron Hines of Pasco; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Andrea Bloomer; daughter, Loretta Bloomer; granddaughters, Justyne and Mikayla Bloomer; granddaughter and husband, Amanda Lindy-Forbes and Richard; grandson and wife, Michael and Dawn Millias; granddaughter, Christina Harris; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Geneva Millias; her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Leona Dann of Miles City, Mont.; sister, Donna Dann of Pasco; sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Jim Leazenby of Augusta, Mont., and sister, Opal Gallardo of Shelbyville, Ky.

Linda was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by her husband, Aaron, her family and many friends.

The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene chapel.
