Pischner to share slices of history

| May 22, 2018 1:00 AM

For half a century, the Museum of North Idaho has been a source of inspiration and information.

Don Pischner hopes it has many years of service left to provide the community.

Pischner, longtime Museum of North Idaho trustee and supporter, will be speaking Thursday at 7 p.m. about the museum in its 50th anniversary year. The lecture will take place at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library in the Community Room.

Pischner will share photos and stories of the people who shaped the museum and its milestone events over the past half century. Some of the photos are iconic, he said, and will help bring the region’s past to life.

The lecture is an excellent, free opportunity for newcomers to the region to learn about their new home and the organization that preserves its history. Refreshments will be provided.
