Walter White gives Larry Miller some love at a care facility where Larry stayed during a cancer scare.

Lori and Larry Miller, of Spirit Lake, were living in California about five years ago when they first met little Walter White.

“...someone dumped him out in an orange orchard at night and my neighbor just happened to come home from work the back way, and found him and another dog sitting by the road,” Lori told Coeur Voice. “They must have just dumped them.”

Walter White has become a great little dog, Lori said. He’s friendly, but also a good watch dog.

Larry went through a cancer scare and was in a care facility for about three weeks. Lori decked Walter out in a St. Patrick’s Day necklace and brought him to see Larry.

“It made Larry’s day,” Lori said. “Someone’s trash became our lifetime companion!”
