Cardinal men second after first day of NWAC championships

YAKIMA, Wash. — North Idaho College’s men are in second place, four strokes behind Bellevue, after the first day of the Northwest Athletic Conference golf championships Sunday at the Apple Tree Resort.

Sean Langham of NIC is tied for second, two shots behind the leader, after shooting a 2-under-par 70.

NIC’s women are tied for third, nine strokes back of Community Colleges of Spokane. Madi Brown of NIC is tied for seventh after shooting 85, four strokes back of the leader.

The championships conclude today.
