Proud parents Mary Valiquette and Dustin Stutheit are happy to announce the birth of their son, Chase Patrick Valiquette. Born at 10:31 p.m. May 1, 2018, at Kootenai Health. Chase was 8 pounds and 20.75 inches long. He is the first son and welcomed by three older sisters, Calli, Aspen and Chloe. Grandparents are Gene and Chris Valiquette, and the Stutheit family.

Doyne ‘D.J.’ Pearcy

80th Birthday

Doyne “D.J.” Pearcy was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene. On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, he will be turning 80 years old.

There will be a gathering from 4 p.m. until whenever Tuesday, May 22 at Sargents Restaurant in Hayden. Family and friends are welcome.

D.J. is a Vietnam veteran with the U.S. Navy. When D.J. got out, he became a sprinkler fitter. He has been with the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 669 for 57 years. D.J. was the first business agent appointed in 1972 and had six states on the West Coast.
