MEDIA: Flunk on Trump

| May 18, 2018 1:00 AM

I know many folks do not watch Fox News because they think it is biased, and it is. But it is biased toward the truth as opposed to the distortions and outright lies spewing from the so called major media. It has been documented that 90-plus percent of the news items on the air were negative toward President Trump in spite of all the positive accomplishments he has generated. It is very troubling to me that I can no longer believe anything coming from “mainstream” media. If I listened only to NBC, CNN or New York Times, I would be very uninformed about what is actually going on.

Example, if I was reading the New York Times, I would be told our new Secretary of State was AWOL when in fact he was on his way to North Korea to retrieve the three long-held prisoners. I would be told by the liberal press that the tax reform bill would be a disaster for the middle class when it has saved most taxpayers several hundred or thousands of dollars. Crumbs according to Pelosi.

The national debt has decreased, unemployment rates for blacks and Latinos are at an all-time low, but do we hear about that on CNN? Other achievements are: exiting the U.S. from the horrible Iranian agreement; raising the prospect of peace in North Korea and that is only a partial list.

Trump is not perfect. He has and probably will make some mistakes. But he is not the flaming dictator some liberals claim. I think the Democrats should get over their irrational hatred of him and give him credit for his accomplishments. It will not happen as most of the changes he has made are the direct opposite of what they want, such as higher taxes and spending. Thank God we do not have Hillary. The press and Democratic leadership are demonstrating the frightening level of their impaired intelligence. I pray that enough voters wise up so we do not continue to elect more challenged folks such as Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi.
