Help make Athol beautiful on Saturday

ATHOL — The city of Athol is hosting its annual citywide beautification event on Saturday.

Those interested in volunteering should meet at City Park at 9 a.m. Yard work and clean-up efforts will occur until about 12:30 p.m.

Volunteers will meet back at the park for a free barbecue hosted by Real Life Ministries.

The volunteers will be put into teams and go into the community to about 33 properties in the city limits to work.

Meanwhile, green maps will be circulated around town identifying 17 yard sale locations.
