Jerry William Larson, 50

Jerry William Larson, 50, resident of Athol, Idaho, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Jewel Lake near Sagle, Idaho. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Yates Funeral Home - Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho.

Jerry was born on Oct. 11, 1967, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Steve and Lucille Brittian. He was later adopted by Rich and Barb Larson. He grew up in Eagle River, Alaska, until age 16 when the family moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Jerry graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1986. He then attended North Idaho College where he studied welding and machine work. He worked for Northwest Machine and later opened Midnight Sun Mfg. in Athol, Idaho.

Jerry married Rebecca Allen on Aug. 20, 2011, at Jewel Lake. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed flying, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Larson of Athol; mother, Barb Larson of Wrangell, Alaska; biological father, Steve Brittian of Lewiston, Idaho; seven children, Jerry, Jr. (Rachel) Larson of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Dillion (Kayla) Koechritz of Wasilla, Alaska, Tuckett Larson of Coeur d’Alene, Scott Larson of Coeur d’Alene, Sierra Larson of Hauser Lake, Idaho, Kianna Larson of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Summer Larson of Athol; two step-children, Cody (Glennisha) Whalen of Kellogg, Idaho and Reshaye Whalen of Coeur d’Alene; ten grandchildren; and two half-brothers, Jared (Meghan) Brittian of Richland, Wash. and Roy Brittian of Seaside, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Larson.
