Sharon Ann (Fields) Hoialmen

Aug. 30, 1943 – May 9, 2018

Sharon, 74, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully and went to be with her late husband of 50 years, Allen, and her Heavenly Father, on May 9, 2018.

Our amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt was born in Coeur d’Alene; the third child to parents, Harold (Jack) and Elvina Fields. She was sister to Melvin (Jack) and Harold G. Fields.

She grew up in Coeur d’Alene, and except for a brief stint in Southern California, was a lifelong resident of the Coeur d’Alene area, where she attended schools and where she met the love of her life, her husband Allen P. Hoialmen. They were married in Coeur d’Alene. Together they raised their three children, James, John and Lorie, in Post Falls, Idaho.

Sharon, a stay-at-home wife and mother, was devoted to raising their children and caring for her family. She found joy in finding treasures at discount stores, garage sales and at family gatherings. Animals also held a special place in her heart, bringing to her love, laughter and often tears.

Sharon attended Ironwood Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband and brothers.

Sharon is survived by her sons, James and John Hoialmen of Coeur d’Alene; daughter Lorie (Tom) Rogers of Lake Almanor, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family invites friends and family to meet with them in a celebration of Sharon’s life from 10 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, ID 83854
