Byron Benjamin Pedersen, 78

Byron Benjamin Pedersen, 78, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away May 4, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. Byron was born May 8, 1939, in Los Angeles, Calif. to Byron L. and Edith (Marr) Pedersen.

Byron attended and graduated from Canoga Park High School in Canoga Park, Calif. in 1957. He then joined the United States Marine Corps and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Just prior to entering the Marine Corps, he met Judith B. Norton. They were later married on Oct. 10, 1959, in Tustin, Calif. They were married 58 years when Byron passed.

Byron worked as an assistant cameraman in the movie industry. He was a member of Real Life Ministries, and Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed classic cars, firearms and going to the prison with his son to minister to the prisoners.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith, of the family home in Post Falls; one son, Byron H. (Tammy) Pedersen; one daughter, Lori (Mike) Thompson; three grandchildren, Zech Pedersen and Brittany and Hannah Thompson; his half-brothers, Jeff and Greg Petersen; and his step-father, George Petersen. His sister, Nanette; his father Byron L Pedersen, and his mother, Edie Petersen preceded him in death

A celebration of Byron’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on May 26, 2018, at Real Life Ministries, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, ID 83854.
