The junior shot 75 to earn medalist honors and lead the Vikings to the team title at the 5A Region 1 tournament Monday at the Lewiston Country Club. “Brayden was a champion; he only hit 7 or 8 greens and still shot a 75,” Coeur d’Alene High coach Bryan Duncan. “That means he’s chipping and putting well, to shoot 75. He’s had some wrist issues, some hook issues, but i tip my hat to him, it was a gutty effort. He was spraying it, and still shot well.”
