Vandal booster to speak at

NIC Booster Club Luncheon

COEUR d’ALENE — Shelly Robson, Vandal Scholarship Fund development coordinator for the University of Idaho, will be the guest speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Coeur d’Alene Outback Steakhouse.

This will be the last NIC Booster Luncheon until next fall.

Robson served as Latah County Vandal Booster president twice during the 1990s and was VSF National Board president in 1999 where the group had a record-breaking fundraising year. She worked for more than 20-plus years as a volunteer for the VSF, Delta Gamma sorority chapter advisor from 1992-2005, and advised the Vandal Spirit Squad from 1996-2005. Robson worked in the advertising industry for 10 years and in retail for more than 20 years when she owned Creighton’s for Women prior to moving to Coeur d’Alene. She is married to Dr. Jim Robson and they live in Hayden Lake.

NIC head golf coach Russell Grove and head softball coach Don Don Williams are also scheduled to give updates on the upcoming Northwest Athletic Conference golf and softball tournaments. The Cardinal softball team and men’s golf are both ranked No. 1 in the NWAC.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of each month at noon at various locations in the community.
