Lions Club Bowls for Scholarships event is Saturday

RATHDRUM — The Hauser Lions Club is inviting the community to support Lakeland High School seniors simply by enjoying a nice meal this weekend.

This is the second year for the Bowls for Scholarships event. Each attendee will receive a handcrafted and painted bowl of choice filled with spaghetti with meatballs and served with Caesar salad, garlic bread, coffee and water. Soft drinks and beer and wine for those 21 and older will also be available for purchase.

All proceeds will help support the scholarship fund for Lakeland's graduating class.

Tickets are $20 each. Pre-sale tickets are now available by emailing mskamps@gmail.com or jmkamps@gmail.com.

Bowls for Scholarships will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in the Rathdrum Lions Clubhouse, 16114 N. Meyer Road.
