POLITICS: Finding better leaders
Citizens across the land have read a Judicial Watch bulletin admitting that there is massive voter fraud — from both Democrats and Republicans.
Our U.S. Congress approval rating from the American people hovers anywhere from 10-25 percent. The U.S. Congress is our “most seasoned” politicians, with the “most experience.”
Presently, few question that our state and federal politicians become wealthy as a result of “serving the people!”
Deep pocket cronies of politicians are noted for monopolizing the time and power of our elected officials. We, the public, are therefore poorly represented.
Politicians are noted for late night votes for their personal pay increases, spending daily work hours on “inside trading,” fiscal incompetence, finding ludicrous reasons to attack sitting presidents’ agendas, lifestyles of the rich and famous, and, lifetime retirement benefits often after only weeks in office.
Given the behaviors and reputation of state and federal politicians, we believe our “best” citizens do not and would not involve themselves in politics.
Therefore, as a potential solution: Create committees comprised of randomly selected citizens who approach high quality community leaders who have not clamored after elected office and ask them to run with term limits. Let’s hear some other ideas, Idaho! Without massive Congressional reform, our nation will continue to flounder.
