Rocky Mountain Liquidation to offer overstock in Post Falls

Overstock and “shelf pulls” from major retailers such as Costco, Target and Macy’s will be offered at Rocky Mountain Liquidation’s next store in Riverbend Commerce Park at 4021 W. Riverbend Ave. Opening Monday, the location is the former Osh Kosh place in the south building of what originally was the Post Falls Outlet Mall.

Owners Scott and Cari Fraser offer clothing, shoes, housewares and more 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. They also have a store at 11407 Government Way in Hayden.

All About You moves in Hayden

A store for bridal and prom events, All About You has moved to Suite C at 7352 Government Way next to Kootenai Coffee. The former location at 5417 Government Way is part of the nail salon next door.

The full-service bridal boutique offers gowns for brides, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, flowergirls, proms, homecoming and special occasions and tuxedo rental and purchase, veils, shoes and jewelry.

Anchored Coffee open off Dalton

Many options for coffees, teas and other beverages are offered at Anchored Coffee Co. that opened last week at 451 W. Dalton Ave. The place formerly was Orlando’s and is off Highway 95 next to Skate Plaza. With a drive-through and a walk-up coffee stand, the grand opening Thursday hosted a fundraiser for the Firefighter Stairclimb.

Key baristas are Kassi Allen and Stephanie Crame, both former store managers at Starbucks.

Hospice opens new community building

A new community building has been opened by Hospice of North Idaho adjacent to the Schneidmiller Hospice House in-patient facility at 2290 W. Prairie Ave.

“This realizes a long-term vision to have all staff at one location, enhancing care and access to patients and family and accommodation for hosting community events,” said Sandy Johnson, director of Community Outreach.

- Renovation is underway at the former Kelly’s Pub building at 726 N. Fourth St. It will be a breakfast-lunch eatery called Ten/6.

- Pizza & Pretzels will open in Silver Lake Mall.

- ICCU is building a new place near Winco. Several new apartment buildings will be there also.

- Hotel news: The Shilo Inn is being remodeled on Appleway and will become a Comfort Suites with 138 rooms, an indoor pool and a meeting room for 50 people. Staybridge Suites hotel is under construction in Riverstone with a $10 million building permit.

- Hopefully something can be done to repair the grooves in Interstate 90 from Coeur d’Alene to State Line. Wheels are affected, and the grooves collect water that splashes vehicles.

- The only reason they say “Women and children first” is to check the strength of the lifeboats.

- Sing this when getting a colonoscopy: “You put your left hand in; you take your left hand out …”
