| March 24, 2018 1:00 AM

Two students from the North Idaho College Graphic Design program recently earned honors at the annual American Advertising Federation Addy Awards in Spokane. Douglas Anderson won a Silver Addy for his design of the cover of the Associated Students of NIC (ASNIC) Student Handbook.

All students who earn gold and silver Addy Awards are eligible for competition at the district level.

“Recent NIC graduates also received awards as a long tradition for the NIC Graphic/Web design programs and degrees,” said Philippe Valle, NIC Graphic Design instructor.

Andrew Lincoln received the prestigious Toni Marie Robideaux design scholarship, based on his design portfolio submission. The $1,000 award is provided and judged by Spokane’s most influential design leaders to recognize and reward student achievements and excellence in the design fields. In the last 14 years since the Toni Marie Robideaux Scholarship has been awarded to aspiring design students, NIC Graphic/Web Design students have received it 14 times.
