MATH: Wisdom of waiting

I am a parent who has had a student in the Coeur d’Alene School District and have grave concerns. A math proficiency of score 29 percent is simply unacceptable. Rearranging the current math curriculum that has led us to 29 percent does not seem like a logical answer to raising our math proficiency. Waiting on the new superintendent, Dr. Cook, who is coming from a district with high performance in math should be consulted before making any changes. Our students deserve better.
