PLASTICS: Disposal dilemma

To whom it may concern: I’ve seen too many programs on TV about plastics and the damage they are doing to our oceans and planet. The owner of CdA Garbage and Post Falls Sanitation has stated that too many people are throwing away plastics, which China will not purchase; the plastics are taking up too much room in the bundles or, they sell to China. This garbage company only wants to recycle the garbage that China will buy, which reduces the recycle amount to almost nothing!

I would like to discontinue my garbage service if this is the case so I can deliver my newspapers, boxes and PLASTICS to the landfill itself. The previous company took the plastics as well, which we washed, and made the recycle program worthwhile. The current company saves the city money, but is that the only consideration?
