COEUR d'ALENE — A parade and party will be among the offerings on Saturday in Coeur d'Alene for St. Patrick's Day.

The annual parade will start at 4 p.m. on Sherman Avenue. The family-friendly event is free.

Billed as Coeur d’Alene’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day bash, the third annual Pat’s Day party will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.

Irish bagpipes, dancers, food and whiskey as well as green beer are some of the highlights that also include corned beef and cabbage and Irish stew dinners. Music will be provided by The Rub. Tickets cost $40 per person.

Money raised at the event will support the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club’s community service grants and the club’s projects throughout Coeur d’Alene, as well as the club’s International service projects.
