POST FALLS — Holding signs and showing their love and support for the victims of mass shootings, Post Falls High School students gathered on the track field outside their school.
They stood in a circle under the gray skies, many with hoods up to keep warm and dry as they participated in the National School Walkout.
"We not only represented the Florida victims, but all of the victims across the country suffering from school shootings," said freshman Chloe Redwing. "There were quite a few people at Post Falls High School, more than I thought would come."
"We Stand with Stoneman," "This is just the start," "Together is better" and "For Safer Tomorrows" read some of the signs the students held up as they showed their unity with other teens across the nation who are hurting in the wake of so many recent shootings.
"I am so proud of how many of my classmates came and supported," Chloe said. "I really do think it is a good start for change."
