Viola Faye Cherry

Viola Faye Cherry, of Post Falls, Idaho, was born on March 25, 1944 in Yakima, Wash. She went home to be with her Savior on March 10, 2018.

After graduating from Post Falls High School, Viola trained to become a dental assistant. Her job took her to the Seattle area and later to Alaska, then back to western Washington. After many years, Viola made her permanent home in North Idaho.

Viola’s favorite thing to do was crochet. She created beautiful afghans, baby sweaters, baby blankets and children’s hats, all which she gifted to friends and charities.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank; mother, Violet; and three brothers, Wally, Doug and Alf. Viola is survived by her daughter, Tracy Marko; grandson, Brandon in Massachusetts and many friends.
